Our Staff

Reverend Ohannes Siwajian -  Intirim Minister

From May 1st until we find permanent ministry personnel, Rev. Ohannes Siwajian (you may call him Hovhannes) will be our minister every Sunday.

Rev. Hovhannes was born in Lebanon and received his education there: a B.A. in History (Haigazian University), a Masters of Divinity (Near East School of Theology), and an M.A. in History (American University of Beirut). As an ordained minister, he has served at Armenian Evangelical churches in Latakia (Syria), Beirut (Lebanon), and Laval, QC. From March until October 2021, he provided interim ministry in the Laurentian Area Ministry.

Beyond pastoral ministry, while in Lebanon, Rev. Hovhannes served as the president of the Religious Tribunal of the 1st Instance of the Armenian Evangelical Churches, as member and secretary of the UAECNE Central Committee, and as chairperson and secretary of the General Assembly of the Union of the Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East, among several other committees.

He is married to Vera Andonian and has two daughters.

Rev. Hovhannes is eager to meet all of you, and he is looking forward to worshipping God with our community. Let us all show him our famous “Wesley welcome.”

Glenn Fraser-Cassidy - Building Manager

Glenn has been a member of Wesley all his life, but took on the job of  being our building manager more than twenty years ago "for just a year or two." He proudly keeps us in spic and span condition and is the friendly face who coordinates the opening and closing of the building.
