5964 Notre Dame de Grâce
We are a welcoming and diverse community of the people; young and old, male and female, gay and straight from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. We come together in worship, in singing, in prayer, in scripture, and in laughter; to comfort, support and to discover God's call for each one. We share in the promise that each of us is a beloved child of God and seek to share that message with everyone who comes through our doors.
We acknowledge that Wesley United Church is on land that is a part of the Mohawk Nation who have, for thousands of years, sought to walk gently on this land. We give thanks for the assistance they offered and survival knowledge they shared with the first European arrivals, in what was at times a harsh climate. We honour the wisdom of their elders, past and present, and seek a new relationship, based in honour and deep respect with the Original Peoples of this land.
